Residential activities

Across Canada, age 9-18

On 3 to 7-day residential activities, teams will normally be based at a fixed point, either in a semi-permanent ‘base camp’ (a canvas village with excellent facilities and large bunk tents), our outdoor centre on the outskirts of Algonquin park or wild camping in smaller dome tents.

Teams travel short distances from their base to a range of exciting activities, which may include climbing, rafting, kayaking, abseiling, team tasks, problem solving scenarios, low and high ropes courses, caving and orienteering. ‘Base camp’ locations cater for team sizes of up to 192, and our outdoor centre on the outskirts of Algonquin park can accomodate up to 60.

"632 unforgettable memories, 325 moments of laughter, 335 smiles, and 155 mosquito bites. Yes, I definately think I speak for all when I say that this weekend was something that they could look back on for many years to come." Emma Casey, Rildey College
