Jungle training

The Jungle Training Course offers invaluable advice to Leaders and School Leaders going to jungle destinations. This 2 day course will deal with subjects such as basha building, jungle navigation, jungle medicine, casualty evacuation, river crossings and other matters specific to the jungle environment.

The course is run from an organic farm situated close to the Black Mountains. The grounds of the farm provide as close to jungle terrain as is possible in the UK with much of the land left wild. Parts of the course will be based in classrooms and there will also be opportunities to venture outdoors for practical hands-on training.
